COMO Castello Del Nero an authentic 12th century castle, now a 5 star hotel

Tavarnelle, in the heart of the Chianti wine region. It is in the
perfect spot to start exploring Tuscany: 30 minutes from Florence, Siena
and San Gimignano, 1 hour drive from Pisa, Lucca and from Prada and The
Mall outlets, while Tavarnelle shops and restaurants are only walking

The hotel features the Michelin starred La Torre Restaurant and La
Taverna Tuscan Restaurant, while during summer guests can enjoy lunch and
dinner on the terrace or by the pool. Our Sommelier will be glad to
arrange Wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tastings in the ancient wine
cellars with more than 1.100 labels, including our two different wine
labels and Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced on our estate.
COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Castello Del Nero, is an elegant, cocooning
sanctuary for therapeutic treatments including massage, yoga and Guinot
facials. Thermal suites offer a revitalising experience, with an
invigorating ice fountain, gentle sauna, aromatic steam room and heated
vitality pool. A 25-metre heated outdoor pool is ideal for gentle exercise,
while our gym provides a space for targeted workouts. A spacious relaxation
area offers far-reaching views across the Tuscan umbers and greens of the
surrounding hillsides.
