Nestled in the hills above Contin, just 25 minutes from Inverness, this family-run country house hotel offers scenic surroundings, fine dining, and a relaxing atmosphere. Built in 1821, this unique building exudes traditional charm, complemented by eight acres of woodland and gardens with unspoiled mountain views. Each en-suite room is individually designed and varies in size and shape. The octagonal restaurant specializes in contemporary Scottish cuisine using fresh, local produce. Located in the Northern Highlands, it's an ideal base for exploring attractions like Dunrobin Castle, Rogie Waterfalls, Cawdor Castle, and the Glen Ord Whisky Distillery. To arrive, follow the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge, take the second left at the Tore roundabout onto the A835 towards Dingwall and Ullapool. At the next roundabout, take the second left to stay on the A835. Contin is about six miles further on. In Contin, the hotel's driveway is the third right after the petrol station, about 200 yards. The hotel is at the end of the half-mile gravel driveway.
