This hotel is one of Vermont's architectural treasures and the enchanting town of Stowe is just a short stroll away over a covered bridge. Built in 1813 and renovated in 2003, this air-conditioned New England country house has been carefully restored and is surrounded by a garden. The hotel has a total of 37 rooms spread over 3 floors and features a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, as well as a courtyard, a games room, a restaurant and a bar which is popular with locals as well. Those arriving by car may use the hotel car park. The charming rooms are individually furnished and come with an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a direct dial telephone and satellite/ cable TV. Further standard features in the carpeted rooms include a double or king-size bed and individually regulated heating and air conditioning. In the attractive gardens is a swimming pool and a sun terrace. A complimentary, continental breakfast is served each morning.
