The residence is situated in the historical centre of the mediaeval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. Located in the heart of the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, the village is not very far from Rome, Pescara and L'Aquila. Guests will find the nearest restaurants, bars and shopping just some 2 minutes' walk from the hotel, and links to the public transport system are located around 5 minutes' walk away. The bus station in L'Aquila is around 25 km away and the railway station in Pescara is some 40 km away. Guests may also be interested in visiting the Rocca Calascio, some 5 km away, the Piana di Campo Imperatore, some 13 km away, the Fontana delle 99 Cannelle in L'Aquila, around 25 km away, or the Grotte di Stiffe and Sulmona, both roughly 40 km from the hotel.
