This enchanting rural hotel is nestled on a hillside overlooking terraces covered in centuries-old olive trees, approximately one kilometre from the shores of Lake Alqueva. Just under a five-minute drive away, guests will find the charming, historic village of Monsaraz, which boasts medieval walls and a castle. This is the perfect place to enjoy a tranquil bike ride or walk, go horseback riding with the riding school, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet while reading a book by the sparkling outdoor pool. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated with traditional furnishings, and all come with private bathrooms with luxurious heated floors and bathrobes and slippers. Guests can also enjoy a fusion of modern and traditional regional dishes in the restaurant, which prepares meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients from the garden, all during a fabulous holiday retreat.
