This area got its name from its history of rope manufacturing! The long straight streets were designed in order to make ropes for the city’s bustling maritime industry. We have a private and secure on-site carpark operated by Yourparkingspace. Please note it cannot be pre-booked and spaces are available on a first come first served basis. The carpark is accessible via Gradwell Street (behind Staycity).
