Housed in a restored century-old building which used to be a chocolate factory, this chocolate-themed hotel is in Viana do Castelo, in the north of Portugal. A 6 minute walk from the Lima River, guests may enjoy a unique experience here learning about the history of chocolate or indulging in one of the cocoa or chocolate-based treatments and therapies. The hotel also provides a restaurant with a menu incorporating cocoa and chocolate and a chocolate museum where guests can have an interactive learning experience. In Viana do Castelo guests may visit the attractive medieval centre, relax on one of the surrounding beaches, explore the Lima valley or hike along the Serra d'Arga mountain.
