With an incredible location built right into the caves used since ancient times in Cappadocia, this remarkable hotel offers history, tradition and comfort in great harmony. The building itself was formerly a manor house built in the 19th century and was carefully refurbished in 2003, preserving as much of the historical aspects of the caves and building as possible. Guests can observe preserved communal bakeries, storage shelves carved into the rock, tunnels connecting floors to one another, and small holes used to tie horses. The hotel's terrace restaurant boasts fantastic views of the town of Urgup and its craggy mountains dotted with cave houses as well as beautiful volcanic rock formations known as fairy chimneys.
