Located just off Laugavegur, Reykjavik's main shopping street, this hotel offers an outstanding location for exploring Iceland's capital. Situated in Mjolnisholt, it's a short 5-minute walk from the city center, amidst shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés. Hlemmur bus station, Kjarvalsstadir Museum, and Hallgrímskirkja church are also within easy walking distance. Built in 2011, the hotel takes its name from the distinctive rock protruding from the first-floor wall, home to the Rock Bar. Its interior draws inspiration from Icelandic nature, particularly the country's unique rock formations, creating a distinctive atmosphere.
