For 300 years, Taychreggan Hotel has stood majestically on its own private bay, overlooking Scotland's longest and arguably most beautiful freshwater loch. Nestled within 40 acres of gardens and natural woodland, this historic stone house and ancient courtyard offer a tranquil escape. Inside, beautifully furnished rooms cater to every need, from cozy and compact to spacious and luxurious. Superior rooms include a complimentary sherry upon arrival, and most boast stunning loch views. All rooms feature ensuite bathrooms. Guests can also enjoy a game of snooker on the antique snooker table. Outside, the gentle lapping of the loch against the shore and jetty enhances the serene atmosphere. A word of warning: you might never want to leave. Please note: children under 14 are not recommended due to limited facilities. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from Oban.
