A monument at the foot of the dunes, this palace lies at the heart of the golden triangle at the entrance to the city, near the Palm Grove. It offers guests a charming stay in a dream location, 40 minutes from the great sand dunes of Morocco. A riad is a traditional Moroccan house with a central courtyard. This is a luxury riad with private balcony suites. It features collections of paintings and works of art, carved or painted ceilings and displays design materials such as marble, precious wood, tadelakt and zellige. Facilities include a 24-hour check-out service, TV lounge and breakfast room, as well as room and laundry services. Each room features its own distinct design, creating a luxurious ambiance with sophisticated elegance. All rooms feature soundproofing, individually regulated air conditioning, ventilation, a satellite TV, DVD/CD player, telephone, wireless Internet access, safety deposit box, king-size bed and corner sitting area with vintage furniture. The bathrooms feature fossilised marble, a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. This riad provides a swimming pool. Guests can also unwind in the sauna, with a massage or spa treatment. The chef and his team use fresh produces and vegetables from the market. The house specialties include the lamb tagine with prunes or the leg of lamb tagine, both a true delight. Lunch, a light meal with Mediterranean notes, is served on the panoramic terraces or poolside. The evening meal can be enjoyed in an intimate and refined atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a dinner full of flavours in the hall, on the patios or again on the terraces. The lounge bar offers a wide choice of cocktails, tapas, malt whiskeys, cognac and a selection of cigars. The restaurant is reserved for residents of the riad. Leaving Erfoud in the direction of Jorf, guests will see a mirage, the silhouette of a palace (the palace of the desert) arise from the sand.
