Overview

The Sandton Sun is over 20 years old and was one of the first luxurious hotels in Johannesburg. It became known as the Red Carpet Hotel by taxi drivers who identified it because of the luxurious red carpet at the entrance. To this day, the hotel continues to use this acknowledgement as its slogan. The year 2007 saw a refurbishment to the rooms and lobby as well as the inclusion of a beautiful new spa.
