Overview

This mock Tudor-style hotel affords a rich history and was originally a large farmhouse built some 150 years ago. It is some 16 km from Stowe Village in the beautiful, green mountains. Surrounded by gardens, this air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 30 rooms. The hotel has a lobby with a reception, a cloakroom, a newspaper stand, and a safe. Within this ski hotel there is an English pub (Mr Pickwick's), a wine cellar, a Martini bar, and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant serving fine food. A car park is available for those arriving by car. The enchanting rooms are different sizes. The carpeted rooms feature a four-poster bed, a canopy bed or a brass bedstead, eiderdowns, luxurious furnishings and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, tea and coffee-making facilities, and ironing equipment. The air conditioning and heating are individually adjustable. There is a heated swimming pool and a sun terrace in the grounds. A hot tub and various spa treatments are also on offer. Nearby, guests can play golf and go hiking, cycling, and skiing. Complimentary tea is served in the afternoons.
