Lavandeira Douro Nature Wellness

Overview

Combining nature, well-being, and local flavors.
The Lavandeira Douro Nature & Wellness Hotel was born from a restructuring and expansion project of Casa da Lavand'eira. The emotion and possibility of creating unforgettable moments, combined with the passion for warm hospitality, the dream of creating benchmark wines, respect for nature, and the offering of well-being, were the inspiration that brought us to this new challenge.

An 18th-century Douro manor house with a privileged location on the banks of the Ovil River, surrounded by gardens and vineyards, its paths and walkways offer routes of rare natural beauty, inviting you to immerse yourself in a sensory experience. Lavandeira Douro N&W has combined ancestral charm with new spaces, resulting from a reflective contemporary architecture, transporting us to a unique, modern and charming world that intertwines with traditions of bygone eras.

The core philosophy of our accommodations, characterized by their individual and unique features, is comfort, luxury, privacy, and exclusivity. Enjoy our SPA and treatments designed for your relaxation and well-being. The heated indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath will complete your experience. To exercise, try our gym and walks around the estate or the trails we have created for you. On warmer days, lose yourself in the Lake – a fabulous pool surrounded by a unique and meticulously designed landscape, where lush flower gardens and a waterfall create the perfect atmosphere to relax. At our restaurant, Elmo, our philosophy is based on a deep desire to protect and value the richness of traditional and local gastronomy, seeking to bring the most authentic flavors to the present day, offering a unique and memorable experience. And because history is told in every corner of Lavandeira Douro N&W, don't miss the Classic Car Museum, a surprising and unexpected collection of the property.
