Originally opened as Fonda España in 1859 and later reimagined by renowned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner alongside celebrated artists such as Eusebi Arnau and Ramon Casas, the hotel has witnessed the evolution of Barcelona and the countless stories that have shaped its unique character.

Today, a new vision by acclaimed interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán brings this remarkable heritage into the present.
